On Sunday, my family and I were invited to Cruden Farm Open Garden and Family Day. The day was a fundraiser for Baker IDI Heart and Diabetes Institute, a cause very close to my heart, as I was diagnosed with Insulin Dependant Diabetes when I was nine years old.
Cruden Farm, owned by the late Dame Elizabeth Murdoch, is absolutely stunning, from the old buildings and stables, to the magnificent gardens. You can find more information about the grounds, and its history here.
Unfortunately the weather was pretty poor on Sunday, (can you believe, right after our heat wave!) however we still managed to enjoy exploring in between rain showers. Milla particularly enjoyed the animal nursery, and actually had the courage to pat some of the animals, for the first time! (usually we can’t even get her to go in)
