We were lucky enough to take Milla last year, and she had an absolute ball! There was plenty of room to walk around and check out all of the activities, the lines for rides weren’t too long, and the whole place was decorated beautifully. The twinkling Christmas decorations really did create a magical atmosphere.

Our favourite Christmas tradition is our annual children’s party – the lil’ ones enjoy lots of Christmas fun, crafts and adventures in the afternoon. Working mums and dads join after work for dinner and family games to keep everyone awake until dark. We then quickly drive around as many Christmas Light Houses as we can manage before sleep overtakes. It’s a simple day filled with so much joy!

Our favourite Christmas tradition is to bake a cake and wrap christmas presents for the old people in the nearby Aged care . Every year we make it a point to spend our christmas morning with them & then we celebrate with our family and friends.

We have a ‘Christmas Eve Box’ that contains a new pair of pyjamas, a Christmas Tree Decoration, a Christmas Movie and some yummy treats to eat! It’s opened and put to use after tea on Christmas Eve!

We love decorating our house with lights and then listening night after night to all the joy it brings. Every year our kids are a little older and can stay up a little later. They love giving glow sticks out to all the families who visit.

We love decorating the tree – always a magical day in our household. And we love it so much we do two – the kids get their very own to decorate exactly as they please (usually changes every couple of days!) and then we have the special family one with lots of decorations that have special meanings.

My family loves the wishing trees at some of the stores. We each choose a card and then have a great day shopping for the special person who is getting a present. We then wrap it up with extra care and place it under the wishing tree.

My son still talks about his visit last year and he normally doesn’t remember anything!
